BUSINESS
Bridge Financing
Griphus Capital provides Bridge Financing solutions targeting Real Estate Developers and Investors that are looking for an efficient and fast access to capital to finance their projects in order not to lose investment opportunities.
Our strengths rely on our capacity to quickly analyse a Project, design a tailored made solution and within a very short time frame, approve the Bridge Financing. Our goal is to be able to finance real estate projects in 15 working days, assuming that all necessary documentation is provided.
Structured Financing & Special Situations
Our main focus are distressed credit situations and senior secured credits. Our pool of Institutional investors have preference for complex situations that require capital, time and flexibility until accessing the embedded value of the underlying assets.
Equity Private Capital Markets
Griphus Capital Partners have extended experience in Equity Capital Markets. Our focus is to look for opportunities in the Portuguese Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) space. We will be looking for industrial companies with strong know and exporting capacity, that need capital to further expand their International business and/or their production capacity.
Bernardo Faria e Maia
Bernardo has more than 20 years of experience in Investment Banking in Portugal, Switzerland, UK and Latam always with Deutsche Bank Global Markets & Investment Banking.
Bernardo was Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG and Head of Multinational Corporations Coverage in Latam.
During his career at DB, Bernardo originated and closed several very innovative and tailored made structured financing and risk management transactions.
Bernardo holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and several Executive Programs from LBS, Said Business School & Chicago Booth.
From 2018 to early 2020 Bernardo co-founded and worked as Managing Director at the lending platform IZILEND, which was focused mainly in bridge and development lending to the Real Estate sector (Spain and Portugal).
Currently, Bernardo is also an advisor at Kingsrock.
Paulo Oliveira
Paulo has more than 25 years of Investment Banking experience, most of it in Deutsche Bank AG as Head of Institutional Client Group Portugal working from Lisbon, London and Madrid.
Paulo was Managing Director since 2006, Member of the European Country Heads Commitee since 2005 and Member of DB Portugal Business Commitee since 2013.
From 2016 until 2018 Paulo was Partner in Raven Capital, a financial boutique based in Lisbon with a focus in Private Equity assets and credit distress situations.
Paulo is Managing Partner in Cegonhas Wellness Resort and Aldeia de Santiago.
Paulo holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
